Welcome to WXQT Radio!

We are Robin and hampton, two researchers and writers who jointly launched this silly little blog in October 2025. Both of us — united by a shared interest in reporting on the ills and fads of the internet — aim to provide our readers insightful and illuminating articles on emerging social media trends, cultural discourse, and commentary. We write about short video format content, memes, music, movies, and more.

As people who spend too much time online, we created WXQT Radio to offer our thoughts on internet trends without falling too hard for the traps of passing judgment, hyperbolizing, or catastrophizing these trends. 

Each month, we tend to write about one article a week (maximum), and send out a members-only newsletter at the end of the month offering some reflections on the past month of writing (and share some things we’ve been enjoying).
